After returning from an inspiring month-long trip to Turkey and India, Walker found himself bored with his own culture and wanting a new challenge. He teamed with Angelo Gastelum aka El Poeta to form borders collapse and hosted/ performed at a series of events on both sides of the border featuring artists from Tijuana as well as top talent from Los Angeles and San Diego.

Walker grew up in the rugged lands of Shao Lin- Staten Island, New York and currently splits his time between San Francisco and San Diego, California. He co-founded the BrokenBeat Network in 1999 and has since been a major influence in the underground electronic music scene in Southern California/ Baja as a producer, dj/performer, promoter and record label partner.

Walker performs as WalkNasty using a laptop w chaos pad to fuse dubstep, glitch, crunk (crunchy funk) and mellowtronic sounds. He has played at events across the United States alongside such artists as Prefuse 73, Boom Bip, cLOUDDEAD, Daedelus, Aspects of Physics, Kid 606, DJ Vadim, edIT (glitch mob), Jega, Irwin, Add N to X, Richard Devine, Phoenicia, Otto Von Schirach, Bluetech, Bodhi and Bostich(Nortec).
